  Summary:
WHERE AS, This Northwest Local School District Board of Education in accordance with the provisions of law has previously adopted a Tax Budget for the next succeeding fiscal year commencing July 1, 2024; and WHERE AS, The Budget Commission of Hamilton County, Ohio, has certified its action thereon to this Board together with an estimate by the County Auditor of the rate of each tax necessary to be levied by this Board and what part thereof is without, and what part within the ten-mill limitation; therefore be it RESOLVED, By the Board of Education of the Northwest Local School District, Hamilton County, Ohio, that the amounts and rates, as determined by the Budget Commission in its certification, be and the same are hereby accepted; and be it further RESOLVED, That there be and is hereby levied on the tax duplicate of said Board of Education the rate of each tax necessary to be levied within and without the ten-mill limitation as follows: Acceptance of Tax Rates (Attachment) And be it further RESOLVED, that the Treasurer, Amy M. Wells, of this Board of Education be, and is hereby directed to certify a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Hamilton County.

14.2 Temporary Appropriations for FY25 Action
  Summary:
WHEREAS, it is desired to postpone the passage of the Annual Appropriations Resolution until an Amended Official Certificate of Estimated Resources for the year beginning July 1, 2024 is received from the County Budget Commission, and to pass a temporary resolution for meeting the ordinary expenses of this district until the effective date of the Annual Appropriations Resolution, and

WHEREAS, Section 5705.38 of the Ohio Revised Code provides that a temporary appropriation measure may be passed to meet ordinary expenses until not later than October 1, of the current fiscal year;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Education of the Northwest Local School District of Hamilton County that to provide for the current expenses and other expenditures of said Board for the period July 1, 2024 until the effective date of the Annual Appropriations Resolution for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025 the following sums be, and the same are, hereby set aside and appropriated for the several purposes for which expenditures are to be made for and during said periods as listed.
